Balance your account and view transactions on a daily basis; pay one-time or recurring bills with free bill pay; download your account activity into Quicken, Microsoft Money, or a basic spreadsheet; transfer funds between accounts (some restrictions apply); print copies of paid checks and print your current or previous statements.
Authorization: It is important to verify that only authorized persons log onto the Bank of Herrin internet banking. This is achieved by verifying your password, it is compared with the password we have stored in the secure data center. You have 5 tries to enter your password correctly. If you enter an incorrect password 5 times, your online banking account will be locked until you call us to reinitialize the account. You play a critical role in preventing others from logging on to your account. Never use passwords that are easy to guess. Examples of bad passwords are birth dates, first names, pet names, addresses, phone numbers, etc. Never reveal your password to another person.
Network Security: we strongly recommended that you always sign off (log out) when you are finished with your online banking activities. As an added security feature, the Bank of Herrin internet banking will “timeout” after 10 minutes. This is done to prevent others from accessing your accounts in case you leave your PC unattended. Our main server is not directly connected to the internet and is protected by firewalls.

Follow the online instructions for registration. Remember that you will need to sign the online banking authorization form after you register! The signature form can be emailed to you or you can come in to any Bank of Herrin location to sign the form and have your online account activated. Without the signature, your online banking registration will not be completed.
